Feeling Old School

Today is my Birthday! I'm 35 today. I can't believe it! Will my brother remember? That's the only thing I've been thinking about today. Carin's iTouch

Santa brought me an Ipod touch for Christmas. I was not expecting it and was very surprised. I love it. I've been playing with it for days, but today is the first day I've used it just to listen to music. I've spent days cleaning up my itunes library and making sure I have all the cover art for my music. My last IPOD was black and white and didn't do images, so this is a big change for me. Duplicate Carin's IPOD, like the real thing or different?

So, my IPOD broke again. I took it back to Best Buy and this time instead of fixing my broken one, they opted to exchange it for a refurbished one, unfortunately, the same model I already had. Anyway, it proved to be a good idea since my new to me IPOD showed up 3 days later instead of 2 weeks later like last time. But this leaves me with a question, It's no secret that I say that I believed my other IPOD new me well and we had a "relationship". Well this isn't that IPOD, even though its got the same name. It's like a duplicate. Like that last episode Stargate Atlantis, but anyway... so how well does this one know me. Well let's see, Here is the first random 10 with my duplicate IPOD:

It's Friday, Field trip day

Fill in Friday, Riley's Birthday edition

1. Last weekend, I was thinking that I can't believe next weekend is Riley's Birthday already! 
2. If the weather continues like this, It's going to be extremely hot for Riley's outdoor birthday party.
3. Will my daughter's weight ever grow?
4. Often, on a summer's night, I think it's summer why do I have to go to work tomorrow.
5. Right now, I could use a good strong maid/helper to clean up my house, finish my yard work, and go pick up the chairs for Riley's party.
6. My favorite summertime meal is ice cream, of course.In the summer time it's definately one of my meals..

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to seeing Deb and Chris, hearing about their trip to Turning Stone and getting some much needed help preparing for Riley's party., tomorrow my plans include Riley's Birthday Party and then some relaxing poker with friends and Sunday, I want to sleep of course, this week has been crazy getting ready for Riley's party and today will go by so fast. I have a million things to do and I know I won't even come close to finishing any of them. Why do I always wait till the last minute!

Did he really just say that?

I was watching the premiere of Making the Band 4 yesterday, I can't seem to resist Diddy shows for some reason. If for nothing else to watch Diddy, he is so funny sometimes. Anyway, in Diddy's opening monologue he talks about wanting to find the next great all boy soul/R&B group to follow in the footsteps of the greatest ones. He then lists some great male R&B groups, "The Temptations, New Edition, Boys 2 Men, Nsync". I rewound just to make sure I wasn't hearing things. Yes that's right he included Nsync in that list of great R&B Boy groups... Sweet!!!!

Debbie told me about this contest on the Gym Class Heroes fan club site. It's to create the best "Ill Summer Mix". It got me thinking, what would be my "Ill Summer Mix"? So far I've got a list of 14 potential candidates, but I'm not going to share them with you until I finalize my list. The GCH contest is 15 - 20 tracks, so I have to come up with more and then narrow down to the best 15-20 songs. Since I've been thinking about it since last night, I thought I'd see what my IPOD had to say about it, so I said "IPOD give me an Ill Summer Mix" and this is what it had to say:
